Frequently Asked Questions
It’s natural to have questions before getting started, so here are a few answers to help you understand what menopause coaching involves and find the support that feels right for you.
What is menopause coaching?
Menopause coaching gives you a supportive space to understand what you’re experiencing, explore what matters most to you and identify practical ways forward. Sessions can cover areas such as confidence, mindset, sleep, stress, energy, movement and lifestyle.
Is menopause coaching a substitute for medical advice?
No. Menopause coaching does not diagnose conditions or replace advice from your GP or another healthcare professional. It works alongside medical support by helping you feel informed, empowered and better able to make choices that are right for you.
How do I know which coaching option is right for me?
Balance Within offers ongoing one-to-one support over seven weeks. Balance Hour is ideal when you want a focused standalone session, while Balance Together provides the connection and encouragement of a small supportive group. We can discuss the best fit during your free discovery call.
Are sessions available online?
Yes. Coaching sessions can be held online, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Any available in-person options can be discussed when you get in touch.
Do you support workplaces and organisations?
Yes. Balance At Work helps organisations create menopause-friendly workplaces through employee education, manager and HR training, policy development, Menopause Action Plans and support group development.
What happens during a discovery call?
The discovery call is a free, informal conversation where you can share what you’re looking for, ask questions and learn more about how coaching could support you. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
